$54,706.06 - $62,911.97 per annum + super

Permanent Full Time - 35 hours per week

Participation in Council’s 9 day fortnight

We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly organised Business Administration Support Officer to assist with the delivery of business services.

This position will be based at Council’s Operations Section which includes civil construction and parks and open space, and will require an individual with excellent organisation, communication and time management skills.

Utilising your administration skills and experience you will assist, train and support a team of up to twenty (20) people through the efficient coordination of business services such as document management, customer service, purchasing and report writing.

You will also provide assistance with the development of operating procedures, policies and any relevant projects concerning the department. The ability to guide and train staff in the application of business systems and a demonstrated ability in budget tracking/reporting are a necessity for this position.

You will need a Certificate IV in Business or extensive experience in a similar position, excellent computer literacy skills with a strong attention to detail and sound report writing ability. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to assist staff at all levels of Council are a requirement of the role.
