$996.26 - $1,145.70 per 28 hour week + super

Maternity Leave Relief Contract Position, 13 months - 28 hours per week

Providing efficient administrative assistance and support to the Strategic Planning team, you will undertake administrative tasks on behalf of the Manager and assist with the preparation of letters, documents, certificates and reports.


This role plays a key lead in ensuring the collection of development contributions is completed and key focus of this position is the management of Council’s development contributions process including all auditing, documentation and registers.  The role is also responsible for administration associated with heritage applications and the successful candidate will work closely with Council’s Heritage Advisor.


Proficient in the use of computer software and systems you will administer and maintain the Strategic Planning pages on Council’s website and coordinate the exhibition of relevant planning documents.


Utilising your excellent customer service and communication skills you will act as the first point of contact for the Strategic Planning team and liaise with external customers regarding enquiries for matters managed by the team.


The successful applicant will have relevant Administration qualifications and/or extensive administrative experience as well as experience working in a diverse team environment in an administrative capacity. Strong organisational and customer service skills including confidence in dealing with the public are also required.
