$35.32 – 51.06 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + super dependent on the qualification
The City of Canada Bay is currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate Early Childhood Relief Educators that hold an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT), Diploma or Certificate 111 Qualification.
to assist with the delivery of high quality children’s services with both Centre’s exceeding all national quality standards and Victoria Avenue Children’s Centre rated as Excellent by ACECQA.
Children Services provide quality Long Day Care and education to children and families from two conveniently located sites. Wellbank Children’s Centre is located on Flavelle Street Concord, and Victoria Avenue Children’s Centre located on Victoria Avenue Concord West.
Casual staff are called upon to meet child-staff ratios and regulations during permanent staff leave. Casuals are provided with as much notice as possible for available shifts however, last minute notice may be required to cover unforeseen staff leave.
There is also the possibility of block placements for casual staff to cover extended periods of staff leave or vacancy. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain some hands on practical experience in a quality Long Day Care facility.
As a Casual Early Childhood Educator you will be required to work across both Centers and assist in the preparation and review of documentation related to children’s development and educational programs, assist children participating in the programs, and contribute to assessing each child’s learning and development.

Successful applicants will:
- hold Early Childhood Teacher (ECT),Diploma or Certificate 111
- have experience working with children 0-5 years, and
- previous experience assisting with education programs for children.
- Minimum of 3 days availability (preference for 5 day availability).
The Centres operate between 7.30am-6.00pm and staff will be required to work rotating shifts within the spread of 7.15am and 6.00pm.
