Council is looking to appoint an additional Senior Infrastructure Services Officer for the Roads & Traffic Team. Are you a well rounded admin professional looking to expand your skills in a specialised area, perhaps within local Government? We are looking for you! 

Responsibilities:  

  • To assist with the delivery of business systems and processes for the Roads & Traffic Section.
  • To assist with the delivery of infrastructure services including road openings, driveway approvals and restoration of infrastructure damaged by others.
  • To assist with business process improvement for the Roads & Traffic Section, measuring performance to identify opportunities for improvement; improving quality of outcome, efficiency or customer satisfaction.
  • To assist with the documentation of processes and provision of one on one coaching to support staff in adopting new processes.
  • Support the Roads & Traffic Section with general administrative support as required.
  • Assist the community within established guidelines to resolve requests or resolve complaints raised by the community by providing excellent customer service.

To be successful in this position you will need the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Relevant education with Certificate III in Business or equivalent or previous experience in similar position.
  • Some experience in the provision of business support, including administration, information systems, and purchasing.
  • Knowledge of the various functional departments of Council.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team as required.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to negotiate towards a mutually agreeable outcome
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications in a business setting.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies to deliver positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and interpret information and data from a range of sources.
  • Experience in procurement of services, and tracking financial expenditure.
  • Current Class ‘C’ Driver’s Licence.

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $71,736.33 to $82,496.78 + Super.
