Do you have a passion for cooking healthy and nutritious food for children? We are seeking a cook to join our team.

About the role:

This position is responsible for preparing nutritious snacks and meals for 40+ children per day according to individual dietary requirements and within an allocated budget. You will develop menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines and prepare meals in compliance with national food safety standards.

Main responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare nutritious snacks and meals
  • Develop menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards

About the person:

  • Previous experience in preparing high-quality, nutritious meals
  • Certificate in Food Handling
  • WWCC
  • Awareness of dietary requirements and catering for allergies
  • A current certificate in First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma is desirable
