Position Details:

As a Student Shelver, you'll be an essential part of our dedicated library team, serving local residents through our state-of-the-art libraries at Five Dock and Concord.

Responsibilities:

Utilize your outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail to check in returned items through our Library Management System and ensure they are returned to their correct locations.

Support other library and specialist staff in delivering library services, including circulation, clerical tasks, promotional activities, and outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Be studying at a secondary school and be at least 15 years of age.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Possess demonstrated computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.

Working Hours:

You'll be allocated one shift per week with flexible working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 4.30pm - 7.30pm
  • Saturday: 12.00pm - 4.00pm
  • Sunday: 1.00pm - 5.00pm
