About the role

The Environmental Health team is currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Environmental Health Officer / Senior Environmental Health Officer. This role works as part of a team and you will be responsible for undertaking regulatory inspections such as food shops, beauty salons, cooling towers, public pools and investigating and resolving environmental health related complaints to ensure all legal responsibilities are met.

About the person 

With your communication and people skills you will liaise with customers and council staff, responding to environmental and public health complaints, offering advice and promoting a positive image of Council to the community.

To be successful in this role you will have relevant tertiary qualifications combined with excellent customer service skills. A current valid car driver’s licence is also essential.
