Join our dynamic team at the City of Canada Bay as a Graduate Engineer and kick-start your career in our Infrastructure Planning team in the Roads & Traffic Business Unit!

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual who is eager to learn, grow, and make a real impact in the engineering field.

If you are a recent graduate or currently pursuing a tertiary degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management, this opportunity may be perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the development of infrastructure engineering projects and in the planning of related infrastructure works.
Preparing infrastructure project plans, designs, cost estimates, engineering specifications and tender documentation etc.
Undertaking inspections of works to ensure compliance with scope and project objectives.
Carrying out environmental assessments and project reviews and obtaining approvals in accordance with current legislation.

Desired Candidate Profile:

You will have demonstrated problem-solving and time management skills and experience using CAD applications, Microsoft Office suite and database applications.
Excellent communication skills along with experience working effectively in a team environment is essential.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges.
A valid ‘Class C’ Driver’s Licence is required.
