We are currently seeking energetic and customer-focused Casual Customer Service Officers to join our team across our state-of-the-art leisure facilities – Concord Oval Recreation Centre (CORC), Five Dock Leisure Centre (FDLC), and our brand-new Rhodes Recreation Centre (RRC), due to open in October 2025.
About the Centres
Concord Oval Recreation Centre (CORC) features:
- Four indoor sport courts catering for, futsal, netball, pickleball, badminton, and basketball
- A modern Gym with two group fitness studios, cardio and weights areas
- A Creche for families using the Centre
Five Dock Leisure Centre (FDLC) offers:
- A competition-standard Gymnastics Hall
- Two indoor sport courts also catering for volleyball
Rhodes Recreation Centre (RRC), due to open in October 2025 offers:
- Two indoor sport courts catering for futsal, netball, pickleball, badminton and basketball with spectator mezzanine
- Fully equipped gym and group fitness studios
- Dedicated gymnastics centre
- Multipurpose rooms and community lounge with cafe
The Role
As a Customer Experience Officer, you will be the welcoming face of our Centres – greeting members and guests, supporting core services (gymnastics, sport courts, gym, creche), and delivering exceptional service at all touchpoints.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Processing memberships, bookings, payments, and transactions
- Promoting programs and services, and guiding patrons through the facility
- Supporting operations with admin tasks and occasional equipment setup
- Being available for both pre-scheduled and short notice shifts
About You
You are positive, professional, and thrive in a customer-facing environment. You’re a great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team and promoting community health and wellbeing.
You’ll have:
- Previous experience in customer service with strong cash handling accuracy
- Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
- Confidence in promoting services and resolving enquiries
- A current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
Availability
Shifts vary based on operational needs and may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays across the following hours:
Concord Oval Recreation Centre
- Mon–Fri: 5:30am–10:00pm
- Sat–Sun & Public Holidays: 7:00am–6:00pm
Five Dock Leisure Centre
- Mon, Wed, Fri: 9:00am–8:00pm
- Tue, Thu: 9:00am–10:00pm
- Sat: 8:00am–6:00pm | Sun: 9:00am–1:30pm
- Closed Public Holidays
Rhodes Recreation Centre will follow similar operating hours, with shifts commencing in October.
