About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Event Producer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional events.

Key responsibilities:
- Support internal and external stakeholders for Council and local community events
- Coordinate the delivery of Council's major event program and ancillary events
- Manage all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production requirements
- Source appropriate participants for events
- Ensure events reflect best practises in creativity, risk/safety, and community engagement
- Supervise staff, volunteers, and contractors at events
- Participate in post-event reviews and recommend improvements
- Develop new events for the program on a one-off or ongoing basis
About the person
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree in event management or equivalent industry experience
- Proven experience in event production for indoor and outdoor events
- Comprehensive understanding of legislative requirements for community events
- Experience in implementing risk management strategies for events
- Ability to coordinate multiple major community events simultaneously
- Current “Class C” Driver’s Licence

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $91,988 to $105,786.
