Event Producer

• Fixed Term position to cover maternity leave until November 2026
• Full-time hours, 35 per week
• Rostered Days Off (participation in a 9-day fortnight scheme)

About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Event Producer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional events.

Key responsibilities: 

• Support internal and external stakeholders for Council and local community events
• Coordinate the delivery of Council's major event program and ancillary events
• Manage all aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production requirements
• Source appropriate participants for events
• Ensure events reflect best practises in creativity, risk/safety, and community engagement
• Supervise staff, volunteers, and contractors at events
• Participate in post-event reviews and recommend improvements
• Develop new events for the program on a one-off or ongoing basis 

About the person

The successful candidate will have:

• Degree in event management or equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience in event production for indoor and outdoor events
• Comprehensive understanding of legislative requirements for community events
• Experience in implementing risk management strategies for events
• Ability to coordinate multiple major community events simultaneously
• Current “Class C” Driver’s Licence

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $91,988 to $105,786.
